In 2006, Giorgi embarked on her professional career and made her debut at the Barcelona Ladies Open in 2009. Her first ITF singles title was earned in Katowice, Poland during 2011. This same year saw her secure a spot among WTA’s main draw quarterfinalists for the first time after advancing to this stage of Baku Cup competition.
