UNBELIEVABLE: Bills Have Ended Her Relationship with Stefon Diggs’ Following After Josh Allen Confrontation In Week 1’s Loss to New York Jets

The Buffalo Bills abruptly moved Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans in one of the most startling moves of the NFL offseason. Surprisingly, the Bills did not acquire any immediate players or draft compensation that could alter their victory total in 2024. Instead, they obtained a 2025 second-round pick for one of the NFL’s top receivers, which is an unusual move for a contending team.
However, the Bills were definitely eager to get Diggs out of their locker room, potentially because he became a problem, as former Vikings GM Rick Spielman speculated. We’re now learning more about the particular instances that led the Bills to trade their star receiver to the Texans.

“I wasn’t sure what Stefon Diggs said to him, but Josh Allen snapped at him. He said, ‘It’s one f—ing game!’ and motioned as if he wasn’t talking to you. Diggs went away, leaving Josh sitting there. In retrospect, given that this was Week 1, we could all assume everything was fine, but looking back, I wish I had included that in my article or made some sort of reference to it. Perhaps Stefon Diggs was saying something nice to him, but [Allen] did not snap at anyone else.”

The game in question occurred in Buffalo’s season opener, following a loss in the AFC Divisional Round to the Cincinnati Bengals in their last postseason appearance. Of course, Diggs hoped to have a solid start to the 2023 season, and when Aaron Rodgers was injured after only four snaps, the Bills should have been able to capitalize.

Instead, the Bills fell 22-16, with Allen throwing three interceptions and one touchdown and Diggs catching ten passes for 102 yards and a touchdown. Nonetheless, the Bills proceeded on a three-game winning streak following the Jets’ setback, with Diggs adding 297 yards and three touchdowns during that time. Whatever disagreement the star tandem had appeared to be resolved very quickly, based on their performance on the field, but that doesn’t mean some harm had not already been done.
