Donovan‘s connection to the Cleveland Browns began in 1999 when the team made its much-anticipated return to the NFL.
Over the past 25 seasons, Jim Donovan became more than just a play-by-play announcer – he was the voice of hope and optimism for fans through both the team’s triumphs and challenges.
His positive outlook never wavered, even as the Browns faced tough times on the field.

Donovan is survived by his wife Cheryl, daughter Meghan, and all who were fortunate enough to call him a friend..
