Sad News 😥😥Tiger Woods will miss his own events again, as the main health problems brought to the golf icons.

Hero World Challenge 2024 has been completely confirmed, but the list is quite absent and Tiger Woods is not involved.

HERO WORLD CHALLENGE revealed its configuration when Scotti Sheffler supervised the load. However, it is difficult to ignore the remarkable lack of Tigerwood.

Hero World Challenge Woods’s absence is particularly visible because he is a master of the event.

The tournament is part of the PGA Tour calendar, but as it is an unofficial event, players do not earn FedEx Cup points or official prize money.

The total prize money for the 2024 event is US$4.5 million (£3.5 million), with the winner receiving US$1 million (£770,000). Nonetheless, while the tournament often attracts some of the biggest names in golf, Woods will not be taking part this time.

Currently confirmed participants are Scheffler, Ludwig Aberg, Patrick Cantlay, Wyndham Clark, Hideki Matsuyama, Sam Burns, Brian Harman, Sahit Tigara, Tony Finau, Sungjae Lim, Tom Kim, Aaron Lai, Billy Horschel, Keegan Bradley, Russell Henley, Matthew Pavon.. and Bob McIntyre.

Three other vacancies have yet to be announced. Woods could be given one of the vacancies to play in the Hero World Challenge, which would coincide with his plans for the rest of the year.

The 48-year-old golf legend’s schedule has been hit with an unexpected challenge after he announced a new health scare, suspending his participation in the Hero World Challenge and PNC Championship due to recent back surgery.

Woods took to social media in mid-September to update fans on his latest medical procedure to combat the severe discomfort that has hampered his injury-plagued 2024 season. The surgery, performed by Dr. Silas Keressi, proved successful.

“The surgery went well and I hope it will help alleviate the back spasms and pain I have been experiencing for the majority of the 2024 season,” Woods said in a statement, adding, “I look forward to this rehabilitation and recovery and being ready to return to a normal life, including golf.”

After his sixth back surgery, Woods is aiming for a strong return in 2025, especially given the expectations surrounding his participation in a golf league and his partnership with Rory McIlroy to compete with LIV Golf.

Despite the potential risk of a recurrence of the pain that previously plagued him, as Woods admitted to Golfweek in December 2023 regarding his struggles during competition, fans remain optimistic that he will recover and compete at the Hero World Challenge in December.
