Phil Taylor officially hoped to leave the competitive darts after leaving the event before the elderly began.
After fighting to recover from hip surgery, Phil Taylor does not play the Masters in the world of seniors, despite the fact that he is his last darts.
Taylor, called “Force,” was defeated in this year’s final and won 16 World Championships as a professional before resigning in 2018.
But four years later he is back at the Masters World Darts Championship and he was hoping to finish his career in style at the World Senior Masters in November, but injury put an end to that. Taylor feels severe pain after this summer surgery, after the scar tissue bursts.
He explained the dart problem online. “I’m having a little bit of trouble with my hip,” Taylor said. “Everything was going fine, but then I just kind of overdid it and apparently I tore some scar tissue.
So it’s definitely a little bit sore.” It was the worst pain that I had once in the last 12 months. To be honest, when I disappear this year, I will be happy.
My training is going well, but after a few hours of playing I get a lot of pain in my hip joint. It’s like having a toothache and it drives me crazy. »
Taylor has already revealed that this will be his last year playing darts competitively. Thinking about his career at that time, he said: “It was an incredible trip for the past 35 years, and I liked every minute.”
I always like to talk about the best of my abilities, but nobody expects time. I think it’s a good time to leave the tour. “Taylor won the first world title in PDC in a PDC’s 8 -year -old 8 -year -old victory in 1995.
He won the 16th and last World Championships in 2013 and reached the 21st finals in 25 games. Taylor also won the Prime Minister -Liga six times and led England to four victorys from the World Cup.
His trophy companies have 214 professional titles and include 85 major records.
In 2006 he was first nominated for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award and came second to A.P. McCoy in 2010. As well as winning numerous accolades, he has also set several milestones, including becoming the first player to land two nine-darts in the same match.
