Lewis Hamilton’s ally Angela Cullen will soon be changing teams

Just as Marcus Armstrong has revealed he will be changing teams for the 2025 season, Lewis Hamilton’s former F1 pal Angela Cullen will also soon be changing teams.

Cullen worked alongside Hamilton from 2016 to 2023, not only as his physiotherapist but also as a close friend and confidant.

However, New Zaran Cheet Natal came out of the F1 world last year, but was preparing for a new challenge through the pond.

Hamilton claims that couples are good friends, and Karen has used a series of adventures during the Sabatical Motorsports vacation.

After retiring from F1, she joined Marcus Armstrong’s camp as an IndyCar coach and seems to be thriving in her new role.

The New Zealander raced for Chip Ganassi Racing through the 2023 season, finishing 15th overall.

Armstrong credited Cullen’s influence on his career, crediting the experience Hamilton gained during his years in the championship with results such as a career-best third place at the Detroit Grand Prix.

But Armstrong will leave Chip Ganassi Racing next year and instead drive for Meyer Shank Racing after his former team reduces its car count from five to three under a new charter system.

The 24-year-old will partner Felix Rosenqvist in 2025, with Cullen enjoying the new scenery alongside him. “I am very proud to be joining Meyer Shank Racing in 2025,” Armstrong said. “When I met Mike Shank and Jim Meyer, I had a great feeling.

Their passion for performance and meticulous work ethic were evident from our first conversation. I’d like to thank them both for the opportunity.”

“This year has brought me closer to where I want to be performance-wise, including my first oval race, and I’m looking forward to continuing to climb the ranks with MSR.

“We want to be at the front and fight for wins, and I believe we have the recipe to do it.”
