Angel Reese Makes WNBA History Against Seattle Storm

The Chicago Sky were matched up against the Seattle Storm on Tuesday night. On a busy day for the WNBA, fans were excited to see how rookie Angel Reese would fare against Nneka Ogwumike, who is one of the league’s best forwards.

Unfortunately for the Chicago home crowd, Tuesday’s performance wasn’t the best from the Sky.

They looked sloppy and disjointed on the offensive end, and shot themselves in the foot multiple times with mistakes. The Sky suffered a 77-68 loss to the Storm, and fell to 2-3 on the 2024 season.

Tuesday’s game marked the first double-double of Angel Reese’s career. She finished the game with 11 points and a career-high 12 rebounds. The LSU national champion is the third player in WNBA history to grab at least 15 offensive rebounds in their first three gamesSo although Chicago didn’t have the night they wanted, at least Reese had a career evening in front of her home fans.
