U.S. Open 2024: How to watch, TV times, streaming options, featured coverage from Pinehurst No. 2

The USGA likes to boast that it brings the U.S. Open to the cathedrals of American golf. That is certainly the case for the 2024 U.S. Open as the championship heads to the sandhills of North Carolina and the famed No. 2 course at Pinehurst Resort and Country Club. Seeing the best golfers in the world take on the Donald Ross masterpiece, returned to its old glory by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw a little more than a decade ago, is reason enough for golf fans to be anxious for the start of the year’s third men’s major. Thankfully for them, there will be plenty of chances to soak in the course as NBC Sports gets set to offer dawn to dusk coverage of the national championship.

Indeed, combining NBC with its cable arm, USA Network, and its streaming service, Peacock, the broadcaster will bring viewers nearly 50 hours of live coverage from Pinehurst and nearly 300 hours across all platforms. That includes “traditional” tournament action as well as Featured Groups and Featured Hole coverage from all four rounds. On Thursday and Friday, you can see all the action from the first tee shots at sunrise to the final putts falling in the gloaming.

There’s also plenty of “pre-championship” coverage on tap throughout the week from Pinehurst as well, including the induction of the Class of 2024—Padraig Harrington, Sandra Palmer, Johnny Farrell, Beverly Hanson, Tom Weiskopf and the 13 LPGA Founders—into the World Golf Hall of Fame on Monday and Golf Channel’s “Live From the U.S. Open” programming to prepare fans for the championship itself.
