Here Is How The 17 LIV Golf Players Fared In Final U.S. Open Qualification For Pinehurst
stress of trying to get into a major championship.
Which LIV Golf Players Will Be At The U.S. Open
At the 2024 U.S. Open, LIV Golf will be heavily represented with 12 golfers in the field of 156. Of those 12, two of them qualified for Pinehurst on golf’s longest day.
South Africa’s Dean Burmester who shot 68-70 to finish -6 at the Bear’s Club in Jupiter, Florida and tie Daniel Berger for 2nd (behind Matt Kuchar at -7), and Spain’s David Puig who led the field with 68-64 for -12 at Lake Merced Golf Club in Daly City, California (Bay Area). Puig earned medalist honors by leading the field at -12.
Those were the only 2 of the 17 LIV Golf players competing in golf’s longest day to qualify but many of the others came very, very close. Joaquin Niemann and Anirban Lahiri both finished -2 and missed the playoff in Jupiter, Florida by one shot. That field in Jupiter was STACKED.
