Rory Makilra has confirmed that he participated in the Tiger WoonD SN PGA Tour Small Committee and directly in the discussion with Backke Liv Golf .
11 months have passed since the PGA tour and the DP World Tour announced negotiations with Saudi investment funds. The proposed transactions could summarize the golf course that had been split two years ago since the launch of the LIV, and some of the best athletes had to leave the PGA tour. However, no agreement has yet been reached between all parties. McIlroy resigned as the PGA Tour’s political commissioner last November and was not expected to be involved in the negotiations. The four-time major winner was recently asked to return to the policy board, which includes the likes of Woods, Patrick Cantlay and Jordan Spieth. However, according to McIlroy, the idea turned out to be “complicated” and “messy”.
