Simone Biles sends a strong message to address the rumors about a student loan controversy

Considered one of the greatest gymnasts of all time, Biles is the most decorated gymnast in history and has carved her path with unparalleled brilliance and individuality. After her record-breaking performance in Paris at the 2024 Olympic Games, the 27 years old has a total of 11 Olympic medals.

Despite all her accolades, the Texas raised athlete is not immune to controversy and faced scrutiny after conservative actress Roseanne Barr criticized her for allegedly receiving $44,000 in student loan forgiveness.

The accusation sparked criticism towards Biles and many social media users questioned how someone with a net worth of over $14 million could benefit from taxpayer money meant for those in need.

Simone Biles took to social media to address the rumors and stated that “y’all really need to stop believing everything you read on the internet”

Meanwhile, you can catch Biles and superstars from the gymnastics world in the Gold Over America Tour (GOAT).

Biles is joined by Jordan Chiles, Hezly Rivera and other gymnasts who will bring their talents from the world stage to the GOAT stage in a high-flying pop concert-style spectacle.

They will perform at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio, on October 27.
