Luke Littler was in stellar form when he won the World Series of Darts final, but the teenager’s 180 left Peter Manley a little unhappy

Peter Manley admits he “feel terrible” watching Luke Littler win the World Series of Darts final in Amsterdam.

Litler beat Michael Smith 11-4 in an impressive performance that included six 180s in the match to claim his eighth major title in his debut season.

Littler beat Ross Smith, Raymond van Barneveld, Chris Dobby and Michael van Gerwen to win with an astounding 34,180 points from five matches.

Manly shared his surprise at Littler’s darts performance, saying on social media that the 62-year-old had scored more points this year than he had scored in his entire career.

Manley wrote #scary.” Prior to this tournament, Littler had already made 513 180-point shots in 2024, according to Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) statistics, ranking him 18th in the world for the most 180-point shots made in a single calendar year.

The record is currently held by Michael Smith with 714 in 2022, followed by Peter Wright (679) and Luke Humphreys (634).

Littler was also the fastest player to break 500 in a season with 180 shots, taking his total to 547 in his latest win. This puts him just shy of Scottish darts icon Gary Anderson’s 576, with several tournaments still to play this year.

Littler has a full calendar with large -scale events such as The Ladbrokes Players Championship finals and the World Cup, providing many photos to defeat more records.

This time last year I was playing on the development tour and my name was mentioned but at the World Cup everyone knew me. I want to continue to build on this and win more. I have a busy schedule ahead of me, but I’m ready for it.
