Acclaimed gymnast Simone Biles is coming off an incredible showing at the 2024 Olympics in Paris. The Texas native added some gold and silver medals to her collection and cemented her spot as one of the most decorated Olympic gymnasts in history. Naturally, when she got home, she had to celebrate in a big way. On Aug. 22, Biles shared with fans what that post-Olympic self-care looks like. According to People, the 27-year-old revealed on her Instagram Stories that she’d replaced her black Mercedes-Benz G-Class with a shiny white model, presumably the 2025 Mercedes-Benz G 550 SUV. “Out with the old,” she captioned an Instagram Story photo of herself standing next to her old black G-Wagon. The following slide completed the saying with the caption “In with the new” and a photo of her sitting on the hood of the new white G-Wagon. In another photo, Biles gave a peek at the red interior of the new set of wheels, complete with her Prada purse sitting on one of the seats. Biles first teased her purchase on her Stories earlier in the day, snapping the white G-Wagon with what appeared to be a dealer’s pricing information pasted on the window. On Aug. 23, she shared another snap of the G-Wagon from afar in what appeared to be her driveway. Meanwhile, her home itself is also in the midst of an upgrade, as she detailed on her Stories some of the things she’s been working on to get her and husband Jonathan Owens’ new Texas digs in order, including “landscaping plans,” a “pool plan,” and “audio and security.” With three more gold medals and a silver medal now in her possession, it’s safe to say Biles deserves to treat herself after so much hard work.
