Charlie Woods did not make the cut of the top 64 golfers at the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship at Oakland Hills Country Club.
Woods, the 15-year-old son of Tiger Woods, played the second and final round of the stroke play qualifying rounds Tuesday, teeing off at 1:48 p.m. on the South Course. Woods shot a 10-over 80, finishing 22-over through a round on the North Course Monday and the South Course Tuesday. He played in a threesome with 18-year-old Alabama golfer Chase Kyes, who is tied for third place at 4-under and shot 66 today, and 18-year-old Baylor golfer Davis Ovard, who is tied for 25th at 1-over; both made the cut.
Woods finished Day 1 tied for 242nd (out of 264 golfers) after he posted a 12-over 82 during his first round on the North Course Wednesday. Tiger was in attendance as a fan for the second straight day after he walked with the crowds following his son during the first round Monday. Parents are not allowed to caddy for their kid during the U.S. Junior Amateur.

The top 64 players will now face off in match play determined by an elimination bracket. Match play starts on Wednesday with 32 pairings facing off, and the action goes until the championship match Saturday on the South course.

Hole 10, par-4
In Woods’ first shot in the second round he takes his driver into the middle of the fairway on the 482 yard par-4 10th hole. Woods’ second shot he takes out his iron and lands on the green for a birdie chance. Woods’ putt ends up just left of the hole and he taps in for par.

Hole 11, par-4
Woods uses his hybrid for the 431 yard par-4 11th hole and takes the ball to the left of the fairway bunkers, Woods is about 100 yards uphill to the green. In Woods’ second shot he uses iron and lands on the front side of the green, about 50 feet away from the hole. Woods almost makes birdie but his putt rolled over the left edge two feet past the hole, leaving him a tap in for par.

Hole 12, par-5
Woods pulls out driver for the 570 yard par-5 12th hole, and lands in the right side rough. Woods takes his iron into the left rough about 90 yards short of the green. Woods’ third shot lands onto the green about 25 feet away from the hole. Woods left his birdie attempt about four feet short, and his putt for par stays left which led to a tap in bogey.
Score: 13-over.
Hole 13, par-3
Woods’ first shot on the 183 yard par-3 13th hole he takes is iron just long of the hole in the bunker on the back left side of the green. Woods chips onto the green about six feet past the hole. Woods sinks his par putt.
Score: 13-over.
Hole 14, par-4
Woods pulls out drive on the 496 yard par-4 14th hole and lands five feet into the left side rough, and then play was paused because of severe weather. Play was paused for one hour and 45 minutes but resumed. Woods approach shot comes up short about 40 yards of the green. Woods chip rolls through the green and two feet into the backside rough. Woods next chip lands on the green two feet away from the hole. Woods short putt lips out, but Woods taps in for double bogey.

Hole 15, par-4
Woods tee shot on the 398 yard par-4 15th hole goes into the right rough. Woods pulls out iron for second shot, the ball lands on the green but bounced into the left side of the first cut. Woods chip requires an awkward stance with hands in front of the ball and rolls about 10 feet away. Woods putt comes up a foot short, and he taps in for bogey.
Score: 16-over.
Hole 16, par-4
Woods takes his 3 wood on the 426 yard par-4 16th hole and kept the ball low but flew about 200 yards into the left side rough. Woods second shot he uses iron and goes into the green side bunker on the left edge of the green. Woods bunker chip rolls five feet past the pin, and Woods sinks the par putt.
Score: 16-over.
Hole 17, par-3
Woods pulls out his hybrid on the 236 yard par-3 17th hole and lands in the back rough. Woods chips from the back rough onto the green 10 feet past the hole. For Woods par putt it rolls out the hole about three feet away, Woods lips out on the three foot putt the taps in for double bogey.
Score: 18-over.
Hole 18, par-4
Woods nearly reached the green in two after a drive in the center of the fairway, but his approach shot rolled off the false front into the fairway. He had two more chips that reached the front edge and rolled off before finally putting one on the dance floor with his fifth shot, where he two-putt from 15 feet for a 7.
Score: 21-over.
Hole 1, par-4
Woods’ drive on the first hole landed in the bunker on the left side of the fairway. He carried his second shot from the sand to the back edge of the green 10 feet past the hole. He missed the birdie by a foot and tapped in for par.
Score: 21-over.
Hole 2, par-5
Woods found the left side of the fairway with his driver. His second shot landed in the rough past the green on the 600-yard hole, and he chipped to 15 feet. He two-putted from there with a lag putt that was a foot left of the hole for par.
Score: 21-over.
Hole 3, par-3
Woods got his first red figure of Tuesday’s round on the first par 3 on the South. His iron shot into the green landed inside 10 feet and he sank the putt.
Score: 20-over.
Hole 4, par-4
Woods found the fairway with his driver again on No. 4. He had an approach shot over 100 yards from the short grass but came up well short and had to pitch it again. His second chip landed 5-10 feet from the hole and he sank the par putt.
Score: 20-over.
Hole 5, par-4
He hit the fairway again on 5 and then landed an approach around 20 feet from the pin for a birdie putt. The putt missed by an inch to the right, setting up a par tap-in.
Score: 20-over.
Hole 6, par-4
Woods found the fairway again with driver on 6. He hit an iron into the green, landing about 25 feet short of the pin. His uphill birdie putt missed a few feet right and he converted within five feet for par.
Score: 20-over.
Hole 7, par-4
He found the short grass again with his driver, avoiding the creek running through the fairway. His second shot landed just off the front edge of the green and he chipped to inside 10 feet with his third. He couldn’t keep his par streak alive, missing right, before tapping in for bogey.
Score: 21-over.
Hole 8, par-4
He went into the right rough with his drive on the 463-yard par-four that is straight uphill. He pitched out onto the fairway short of the false front then chipped onto the green for a par putt inside 10 feet which he sank.
Score: 21-over.
Hole 9, par-3
Woods hit an iron onto the wide part of the green, leaving himself a birdie putt around 15-20 feet. He missed the putt left, leaving himself a tester for par that he couldn’t nail, settling for bogey.
