Tiger Woods now shares what he never does at major championships after round one in Valhalla

May 19, 2024

Tiger Woods has his opening round of the 2024 PGA Championship in the bag and he’s made a startling admission about his practice while at the tournament.

Woods carded what was, in the end, a frustrating one over par round at Valhalla after looking like going into the second round under par with just a few holes to play.

Two consecutive three putts ensured Woods would indeed finish one over, but it was not the end of the world for the 15-time major winner either.

Going into tomorrow, Woods will be hoping his body continues to hold up and that he can perhaps cut out a few sloppy errors to make the cut.

As we know, Woods is only playing the odd tournament in 2024. And with that, his practice time is not what is used to be either.

With that in mind, you’d assume Woods would go to tournaments and fully engage with his data.

But when asked about looking at a particular ball speed when out on the range, ‘Tiger’ admitted something nobody expected.
