The 2024 PGA Tour is continuing at pace this year, and this weekend sees the sixth Signature Event begin, with the Wells Fargo Championship from the Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina. The event takes place over four days, and will pit some of the very best golfers in the world against one another.
The first tee-times kick off today, and will continue through to Sunday, May 12, with several different groups set to face off. The Advanced Main Feed includes former winners of the tournament such as Rory McIlory, while the Expanded Marquee and Featured groups include five of the world’s top 10 players.
It’s one of the newer events on the PGA Tour, and even more so as one of the eight Signature Events on this year’s calendar. Former names for this competition include the Quail Hollow Championship and the Wachovia Championship, with the latter being its inaugural title for the 2003 edition, won by David Toms.
There’s plenty of world-class golf to keep up with over the next four days, and your best place to do so for this year’s Wells Fargo Championship is right here with The Sporting News.
As one of the key events on the PGA Tour, and one that lines up perfectly with local time (ET) on the US’s Eastern Seaboard, terrestrial TV coverage of this year’s Wells Fargo Championship comes via CBS, as well as on the Golf Channel, the home of the sport in the States.
The action begins on each day live at 11:00 a.m ET, but both the Golf Channel andESPN+ are showing replays of the action throughout the weekend.
If the Wells Fargo Championship is not available to watch live in your location or if you’re traveling abroad, you can use a Virtual Private Network (VPN). VPNs provide a secure and private online connection, allowing you to bypass geographical restrictions to access your favorite streaming services from any device anywhere in the world.
The best place to make sure you catch every single bit of the action is with ESPN+, who will provide subscribers with access to more than 4,300 live and exclusive hours covering 35 tournaments across the 2024 calendar.
All four feeds from this year’s Wells Fargo Open — Main Feed, Marquee Group, Featured Holes and Featured Groups — are available to watch both live and on catch-up with ESPN+. Peacock is also steaming the action across the four days.
Paramount+ and Fubo, both of which are offering FREE trials to new users, will also be live streaming the action in the latter stages of the tournament.
