LIV Golf Singapore 2024 has a rather unpredictable leaderboard! After their first round on Friday at the Serapong Golf Course, Torque GC’s team member Sebastian Munoz took the lead with a 6-under 65 score, giving his best performance yet in the 2024 season. One would have expected a renowned name to top the leaderboard, but LIV Golf this year has had a few first-time winners like Brendan Steele in Adelaide.
Munoz is one stroke ahead of the six players tied for the second position, including 5X major winner Brooks Koepka. Round 2 will be fascinating indeed, with the top players trying to maintain their lead and the golfers such as Joaquin Niemann and Louis Oosthuizen trying to take the lead. The competition sure will be enthralling, as LIV’s usual $25 million sum is at stake. Let us dive deeper to see at what time the competition will begin at Sentosa GC on Saturday.
The second round will have a shotgun start, which is LIV’s standard format. For every hole, there will be three players teeing off against each other. It is scheduled to begin at 9:15 p.m. ET. This is what the pairings for the penultimate round look like:

Seasoned LIV golfer Talor Gooch, who returned to Sentosa as the defending champion, sits comfortably at T16 with 3 under before the second round. The golf community was expecting him to bring his A-game to the field after he failed to defend his Adelaide title. In 2023, he won two back-to-back events and was named the LIV Golf Individual Champion. Tied with Gooch in Singapore are exemplary players such as Brendan Steele, Tyrrell Hatton, and Matthew Wolff.
Although Sebastian Munoz is in the lead, the six other players tied for the second round are Thomas Pieters, Brooks Koepka, Cameron Tringale, Abraham Ancer, Martin Kaymer, and Kevin Na. Will the leaderboard topper be able to retain his spot?
