Scottie Scheffler has been the most consistent player on a golf course this year.
He came into the Masters as the heavy favorite to win because of his dominant play in 2024 and nothing changed this week.
Before winning his second green jacket on Sunday, the world No. 1 had finished in the top 10 in seven of his previous eight tournaments.
Hereās a closer look at how Scheffler has done this year, beginning with his most recent tournament:
Neal Shipley experiences ādream weekā at the Masters. Ohio State golfer wins low amateur and plays with Tiger Woods
It would be hard for any college golfer to even imagine what Ohio Stateās Neal Shipley experienced.
Get invited to the Masters, win low amateur and then play the final round with Tiger Woods at Augusta National.
Shipley described the experience as a ādream weekā and raved about how gracious the five-time Masters champion was during their round Sunday.
āBeing out there with Tiger, we were chatting. We talked a lot about just golf, (his son) Charlie and just normal things,ā Shipley said. āHeās such a normal guy and really cool. He was great to me all day.ā
Shipley shot 73 and finished tied for 53rd place at 12-over 300.
Doesnāt really matter. He is walking away with some incredible moments to cherish for a lifetime.
Shipley says the only thing that couldāve topped his week was getting to win a green jacket
āThis week is going to be one of the best weeks of my life and something that I remember forever,ā Shipley said, adding that about the only thing that could possibly top it would be winning a green jacket one day.

āItās a very special time for both of us. I canāt put into words what it means to win this tournament again,ā Scheffler said during a CBS interview in Butler Cabin.
āI really canāt put into words what itās going to be like to be a father for the first time. Iām looking forward to getting home and celebrating with Meredith,ā he added.
āIts been a long week here without her, but Iām just looking forward to getting home.ā

āI think if you just keep playing, skills are going to show up,ā Aberg told reporters as the tournament closed on Sunday. āI think once you stop playing, thatās when you ā the skills are not showing up, and I think we did a great job of that.ā
āKeep the ball in front of you, and thereās a lot of holes left to be played,ā he added.
āI think me finishing well after those couple holes were pretty encouraging to see.ā
