AUGUSTA, Ga. – Tyrrell Hatton was asked about his birdie putt on the 14th. But at that moment there was another hole in his head. What’s ahead.

I absolutely hate it,” Hatton said Sunday, speaking to the media after shooting a 69 in the final round of the Masters. “And I think it hates me because of the songs I end up producing for it. Hatton actually hasn’t played this badly on the par-5 15th hole at Augusta National in years, despite his struggles last week.
In his previous games . in seven masters matches (24 rounds), he averaged 4.88. He had no eagles and 10 birdies with three bogeys and two doubles.
It wasn’t so nice this year. He’s played the 15th in four games, bringing his new scoring average to 5.04 — and any par-5 higher than a par-5 is something professional golfers don’t usually get excited about.

Better. On Sunday 15th, Hatton followed up with one of his best rounds of the day, going five under with no bogeys and two holes to play. But bogeys on 17 and 18 led to a three-under 69, putting him at three for the week.
The bright side? He finished ninth, which means he will be invited back here next year. Hatton later laughed about his second Augusta round in the 60s.
“I’ve doubled my score now with rounds in the 60s,” he said. “I don’t think there is another golf course in the world that I play 25 times and only shoot in the 60s twice. It’s a really tough golf course that I’ve always struggled with.”
