BREAKING NEWS 🥺 :’I hate it’: Pro vents Masters hole living rent free
 in my head’
\ nTyrrell Hatton
in the final Masters round at Augusta National Golf Club.

AUGUSTA, Ga.
Tyrrell Hatton was asked about his birdie putt on the 14th. But at that moment there was another hole in his head. What’s ahead.

“I tried
not to think about 15 until I got there. That hole lives in my head. I hate it. I absolutely hate it,” Hatton said Sunday, speaking to the media after shooting a 69 in the final round of the Masters. “And I think it hates me because of the songs I end up producing for it. Again, I played that hole in four this week.

Hatton actually hasn’t played this badly on the par-5 15th hole at Augusta National in years, despite his struggles last week.

In his previous games .
in seven masters matches (24 rounds), he averaged 4.88. He had no eagles and 10 birdies with three bogeys and two doubles.

It wasn’t so nice this year.
 He’s
played the 15th in four games, bringing his new scoring average to 5.04  and any par-5 higher than a par-5 is something professional golfers don’t usually get excited about.

15.
 the site
even teased Hatton in various ways this week. In the first leg, he hit a wedge in the water. Double collar In the second round, he lay too close to the pond and had a tricky chip that landed 15 feet from the edge and then needed three putts from there. yellow On Saturday, he missed a putt, hit his second shot well over the green and it rolled into the pond off the 16th fairway. Bogey.

Sunday didn’t start much better.
Hatton pulled a packet of tea left in the trees and immediately dropped his driver. But he was able to putt and putt and putt, even though he was bothered, he left his approach over the hole, leaving one of the “fastest putts I’ve ever had in my life”.

Better.
 On Sunday 15th,
Hatton followed up with one of his best rounds of the day, going five under with no bogeys and two holes to play. But bogeys on 17 and 18 led to a three-under 69, putting him at three for the week.

The bright side? He finished ninth, which means he will be invited back here next year.
Hatton later laughed about his second Augusta round in the 60s.

“I’ve
doubled my score now with rounds in the 60s,” he said. “I don’t think there is another golf course in the world that I play 25 times and only shoot in the 60s twice. It’s a really tough golf course that I’ve always struggled with.
