We know the Masters is coming, with reports that Tiger Woods will appear at Augusta National Golf Club.
In news first tweeted by TWlegion and detailed by Sports Illustrated’s Bob Harig, Woods appears to have been in Augusta for the regular round, and Harig said the five-time Masters champion will be joining AGNC Chairman Fred Ridley. reported that he was playing with Woods’ close friend Justin Thomas.
A less casual observer would say this is a good indicator that Woods feels healthy enough to compete in the 88th Masters, which begins April 11. Woods, 48, played in the Genesis Tournament for the first time this year.
He was invited to Riviera Country Club in mid-February, but withdrew from the second round due to influenza.
